I have been in the MLM industry for about 14 years. I have worked 4 different business that only 1 was what I considered successful. My highest monthly check was $3,500. I was so excited! Now let me tell you what it took to get that income, which by the way is nothing compared to what is really/currently available.
I went to 2 nightly opportunity meetings a week, 1 Saturday a month we had a distributor training, I drove all over town delivering products. My trunk was no longer for groceries. I bought MLM leads to call to recruit my business which was the minimum of $200 & little did I know had been also called from every other opportunity rep seeker out there. They were very old leads & getting a live person on the phone was just impossible if you did they most of the time got mad at me for calling, said they had not signed up to receive anything via the internet no longer had an interest or I got the all mighty ANSWERING MACHINE!!
Now like I said I did earn a check for just over $3,000. But the kind of people that I could convince to come join me, I think mostly to shut me up, let me just say I was running an adult daycare. Keeping them motivated to work on their business, not letting the no’s that you are going to get blow you completely out of the water. It was more work dealing with my team that trying to find new recruits. My brain HURT! My wallet was dry! I literally had no idea why people pursued this dream cause it looked like hell to me!
Well guess what – I did like most other MLM newbies do – I QUIT! Yes, I quit. I went back to my work @ the local Sheriff’s Dept. I settled for the paycheck I knew was coming every other week, the medical insurance and the peace of mind that I did not have to have that MLM bear on my back anymore. UNTIL….
One evening after coming home from work I checked my email that introduced me to a way that I could succeed in the MLM arena. I didn’t even have a business I was working. But them dream that I felt several months back came back alive. Not only have I found a business but my success in marketing my business to create extremely hot leads to in return generate successful business partners that have the same like mind as myself. GOODBYE adult daycare!! No more pissed off people wondering why I am calling. Now it is Hi Sherril, thanks for calling me back! No they don’t all come in but the numbers have definitely changed for the better!
Today I teach individuals how to market their business and get quality leads for their MLM business. Most importantly how to brand themselves! This is 2009 and the old ways of calling your friends and family – literally driving them crazy & sometimes hurting relationships are OVER! There are some people that can still work this method and that is just fine. But the internet offers a totally new way of growing your business to the six figure income you have only ever heard of – well it is time to step up your game and sit in the drivers seat that many very successful entrepreneurs currently sit in that allow them to make that 6 – 7 figure income you’ve always dreamed of!
I am truly in business for myself now & it feels wonderful!!!
